Painting Project

For the painting project, I was asked to produced four paintings on A2 paper, all of things that represent myself. I had to choose an electrical object, a non-electrical object and an item of clothing/ accessory. My fourth painting was to be a self-portrait. Looking back, I do wish I had created these on canvas or board instead as feel more confident working with paint on these rather than paper, however I am proud of the outcomes of my productions. I feel that with the images produced, I genuinely expressed parts of myself and my personality . Though one particular painting I feel could have one or two improvements in regards to slight smudging and unrealistic definition on the sole of the shoe, due to Covid-19, I was unable to rectify these in the studio.
